Aims and Objectives
Future Objectives 2004-2006

Seniors

? To qualify for the WARL final series in Supertag, reserves and first grade.

? To be awarded the senior club championship.

? To have at least four WARL senior reps over each of the 3 years (2004-2006).

? To have a senior player awarded the Ken Allen Medal.

? To attract players to the club who will lift the professionalism of the club and the league.

Juniors

? To encourage junior player's to gain contracts with an N.R.L club through our contacts with Canberra and NRL ,the development programmes conducted by the WARL.

? To continue to provide a club structure with all age groups thus maintaining a sense of loyalty and belonging for all junior players as they move through the grades.

? To ensure that players receive the best possible training with quality equipment.

? To ensure that all parents are kept abreast of their child's development through quality feedback

? To developed a consistent approach to the skills development of our junior players by development of a junior coaching panel headed by a committee and Operational manager

? To encourage and ensure the smooth transition of junior players into our senior ranks.

? To respond to requests from parents.

? To provide a safe environment for all children playing Rugby League in the club.

Region

? To support the forming of junior leagues in Kwinana and the re-forming of the Mandurah Rugby League juniors and third grade.

? Gain consistency of junior fees throughout district so as to eliminate confusion amongst parents.

? Encourage the development of flag belt in regional schools.

? To support the development of a multi-sports complex for Rockingham.

Administration

? To ensure the club is financially sound.

? To maintain effective communication and consultation with players and membership.

? Maintained our ties with the Canberra Raiders and the NRL

? To support initiatives undertaken by the WARL.

? To underpin the initiatives taken in Junior and Senior areas within Club.

? To provide a focal point for consistency within coaching within Club.

? To assist in the development of all coaches within club.

? Attract sufficient sponsorship and/or grants to assist with development programmes.

Schools

? Work with the WARL to employ a part time development officer.

? Encourage the introduction of strategies such as "Flag belt'' within all schools

? Promote the concept of an annual August school holiday tournament for all primary and secondary schools within area.

? Provide coaching support to all schools.

? Provide referees for schools.

? Actively support WARL initiatives.

Referees

? To assist in the development of referees for the sport.

? To provide strategies to ensure that referees within the sport feel a part of the game.

? To ensure the safety of all referees who officiate at fixtures within this district.

? To provide candidates for referee's courses conducted by the WARL coaching panel.

Women's Supertag


? To assist in the development of a Women's Flag belt team's from Rockingham Raiders from under 13's up.

? To provide coaches for Women's supertag.

? To support the concept of "Women in Rugby League-the game needs them!'' and actively encourage the development of opportunities in playing, coaching, officiating, and administration.
